Ok... I think you can all guess what my rant will be about........

Seriously!!!!! WHAT THE HECK!! NO! NO!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Ok.. to be fair, I've watched 2 trailers now of the new movie.. and I have waited to see more about this film before blowing my lid.
NOW... if they were to call it something like "Ghostbusters Rebooted" or "Ghostbusters Millenium" then I would be a little more forgiving. However, ever since the announcement of this movie (and the fact it's roles reversed) they insisted this story isn't a re-make, but it's own. I'm sorry if this is too forward,but......BULLSHIT!!!

They have nearly copied everything, just added in a different turn of events that is causing a ghost out-break and that they can get "possessed" by the ghosts themselves. Not Happy Jan.

The only thing I will appreciate about this movie is that Ghostbusters merch' will become more available. Since they seem to be keeping to the old school logo, I will be buying up- but only if they keep these new characters off this merch' and allow me to remissness of my childhood heroes!

Not sure about others, and I 'will' watch this movie (I refuse to pay for it how ever). My passion for Ghostbusters, and all other movies from the 80's & 90's that are being CGI-afied.... is ten fold. Honestly! There are millions of books out there you can use as inspiration for your shitty story lines and block busters! Why screw with a classic!!

I'm so upset and pissed off......... even Winston (Ernie Hudson) wasn't safe, being replaced by the loud mouthed Patty (Leslie Jones).
*sigh*
This horrible re-boot is apparently due around July 14th in Australia. I will be sure to light a candle on this day in the memory of those fallen heroes.
